Katrina has dealt the Episcopal Church in Mississippi and Louisiana a crippling blow. To rebuild and maintain an Episcopal presence for the future, targeted aid is required. Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) is chartered to restore devastated communities—focusing on the poor, vulnerable and distressed. Darkness Into Day can specifically target church infrastructure and rebuilding. Through Phase I of the Darkness Into Day campaign, we will provide $6,544,000 for leadership, ministries, and buildings—beginning to rebuild the very foundation of our Church. |
